Hannah and Ernie Biberstein are members and cofounders of Congregation Bet Haverim - Jewish Fellowship of Davis; Davis Community Meals, a provider of food and shelter to indigent and homeless; Celebration of Abraham, an interfaith organization encompassing Jews, Christians, and Moslems dedicated to dialogue and understanding between the faiths, and Care for God's Creation, an interfaith organization addressing environmental problems from a religious/spiritual point of view. Hannah is a long-time member of the Social Services Commission of the City of Davis. Ernie is Professor Emeritus, University of California, Davis.

Diane Colborn is an Elder at Davis Community Church (Presbyterian), where she co-chairs the Stewards of Creation committee. She holds a law degree from UC Davis and a Diploma in Spiritual Formation Studies from San Francisco Theological Seminary. She works as chief consultant to the California State Assembly Committee on Water, Parks and Wildlife.

Until retiring in 2006, Dr. James Cramer was Professor and Chair of Sociology and a member of the Ecology Graduate Group at University of California at Davis. Jim is a demographer and has published extensively in professional journals on such topics as fertility and female employment, racial and ethnic differences in infant mortality in the U.S., and population and environment in California. Chair the Church & Society Committee at Davis United Methodist Church, Jim is leading a "greening the church” project there.

Hamza El-Nakhal is a founding member of Care for God’s Creation. Currently, he is member of the Board of Trustees of the Islamic Center of Davis, member of the Executive Committee of the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR-SV), Member of Board of Directors of Davis International House and member of the Community Advisory Board to the Davis Police Department. He is a retired professor of Microbiolgy, former President of the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-SV), former President of the Islamic Center of Davis, former Commissioner on the Davis Human Relations Commission.

Judy Moores has an A.B. degree from Mt. Holyoke College and extensive graduate units from UC Davis in the fields of biology, education and human development. She has lived in Davis since 1966 and has had a “Career” of volunteer work. She co-founded the Davis Science Center (now Explorit). From 1984-1987, she served on the Yolo County School Board, including two years as President. During the 1990s, she was on the board of STEAC (Short Term Emergency Aid Committee) helping the agency transition to a very small non-profit run entirely by a few volunteers to one with staff and an expanded volunteer base. At the UU Church of Davis she has chaired the Sunday Services, Sanctuary Renovation, Caring Network, and Intern Ministry Committees. Currently, she is co-chair of the Green Sanctuary Committee. In 1999, she was awarded the C.A. Covell Davis Citizen of the Year Award for outstanding volunteer service.

Sarah H. Motley (President) has been ordained in the Episcopal Church since 1979. She is also a founding member of Celebration of Abraham, and has worked as a college chaplain and in Hispanic ministry. She also serves as a Board member of Tuleyome, a bioregional advocacy and education non-profit organization.

Helen Roland (Secretary) has been teaching Environmental Studies at California State University Sacramento for over ten years. She has also worked at the California Research Bureau doing applied environmental research for the California State Legislature. Her research primarily has focused on the use of science in environmental policy making. She is a member of the United Methodist Church of Davis and is involved its "greening the church" project. Helen is also active in a number of other interfaith groups.

Carl Schwedler (Treasurer) is a patent attorney specializing in bioengineering and is a member of the parish of St. James Roman Catholic Church. He also serves on the Board of Explorit, a local science museum, and is active in Community Supported Agriculture.
