The Reverend Jeanie Shaw is an ordained Presbyterian Minister, writer, and
teacher.

She first ventured out to California as a rock climbing and wilderness instructor for a Christian Wilderness organization, fell in love with the Sierras and stayed. Passionate about the relationship between air quality and trees, she co-founded the Trees For Tomorrow campaign of the Sacramento Tree Foundation which planted one million trees in Sacramento County.

She lives in Sacramento with her husband Judge Lloyd Connelly and their daughter Keele.
